1.BMW i4

The BMW i4 M50 has 544hp and the BMW i4 eDrive40 has a range of up to 365 miles due to BMW’s fifth-generation eDrive technology. When it finally hits markets in early to mid-2022, the BMW i4 will be a brand-new electric car that will compete against the Tesla Model 3 and other mid-size EV sedans.

2. Tesla Cybertruck

Tesla, Inc. has introduced the Tesla Cybertruck, a battery-electric light-duty truck. It’s been a long time coming for Tesla’s dystopian vision of an electric pickup truck. Although it was first revealed in 2019, manufacturing has yet to begin. The Tesla Cybertruck is expected to arrive by the end of 2022. It has a range of up to 500 miles and a starting price of $39,900(probably).

3. Volvo C40 Recharge

Volvo’s C40 Recharge SUV is the company’s first electric vehicle without a gasoline counterpart. A lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 78kWh has a range of 418 kilometers. This can be charged with an 11kW AC charger or a 150kW DC charger, with the latter allowing for an 80 percent charge in about 40 minutes from empty. It is scheduled to arrive in early 2022 and will cost $55,000.

4. Hyundai Ioniq 5

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a brand-new all-electric compact crossover with cutting-edge technology, futuristic appearance, and a flexible interior. It’s a compact SUV with quick charging capabilities and a 0-60 mph acceleration time of just over five seconds. It also supports bidirectional charging, allowing it to charge other Ioniqs. It is anticipated to come by the end of2021, with other versions arriving in2022, with prices ranging from $40,925 to $55,725. 

5. Lucid Air Pure

For a base trim, the Lucid Air Pure is well-equipped. Lucid Air, which is less priced, is on its way. The price of the electric vehicle is $77,400. The electric vehicle will be available to customers in early 2022, with a range of 406 miles and 480 horsepower. 

6. Ford F-150 Lightning

This full-size, all-electric pickup could be the most important of all the EVs on the horizon. The Lightning adds so many new features to the F-150 that it may be the best version yet. There are two battery options: Standard and Extended, with ranges of up to 230 miles (370 km) and 300 miles (483 km)respectively. The starting price is likely to be $39,974. The dual-motor, all-wheel-drive system is the standout feature-quiet, smooth, easy to operate, powerful, and capable of 0-60 mph (96.5 km/h) acceleration in the mid-4-second range in the top version.

7. Fisker Ocean

Fisker’s first vehicle will be a sustainable electric vehicle (EV) since it will be made of recycled plastics and will include a solar roof to generate additional energy. According to Fisker, the standard front-wheel-drive Sport will have a single 275-hp electric motor, accelerate to 60 mph in 6.9 seconds, and have a range of 250 miles.

8.GMC Hummer EV

This is a full-size, fully electric vehicle that threatens to shake up a major segment. The Hummer EV will debut on sale in the fall of 2021, with just the most expensive Edition 1 variant accessible initially; less priced trims will become available in 2022. The all pickup truck with a 0-60 mph time of less than three seconds and a price tag of over $100,000. 

9. Kia EV6

Kia’s EV6 is a battery-powered compact SUV. The low-spec variants come with a 58 kWh battery pack capable of producing 170 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. The two-wheel-drive version is said to go from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 8.5 seconds. The larger battery pack allows for 321 horsepower and 605 Nm, and it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds while driving all four wheels. The EV6 comes with attractive and sophisticated LED lights on the outside. Arrival is scheduled for the beginning of 2022.

10. Cadillac Lyriq

This mid-size luxury SUV is the brand’s first all-electric vehicle. At introduction in the first half of 2022, only the $59,990 single-motor rear-wheel-drive model with a 300-mile range will be offered. It is not only positioned for success, but also a forerunner of Cadillac’s all-electric future, with attractive and futuristic styling both inside and out, high-tech amenities, and a range of over 300 miles. 

11. Mazda MX-30

Mazda’s first electric vehicle is the MX-30. Mazda’s MX-30 is a compact crossover SUV that is both electric and hybrid. The MX-30 is driven by an electric motor with a power output of 105 kW and torque of 264 Nm (195 lbfft) and a range of 209 kilometers. Using 40 kW DC charging, you can reach an 80 percent charge in 30 to 40 minutes. The MX-30 is said to be fully recharged in 4.5 hours thanks to a 6.6 kW AC (1 phase, 230V, 29A) charging unit. It is scheduled to arrive in early 2022 and will cost $33,470.

12. Nissan Ariya

Nissan is expanding its electric car lineup with the 2023 Ariya SUV, which will hit the market in the United States in the fall of 2022. The Ariya is Nissan’s first all-new vehicle. There will be two battery capacities available: a 63.0-kWh battery as standard, and a large 87.0-kWh battery as an option, as well as front-or all-wheel drive. When the Nissan Ariya debuts in early2022, prices will begin at $47,125. The Ariya will be able to charge at home by 110-or 240-volt outlets, including at public charging stations and DC fast-charging ports.

13. Mercedes EQS

The Mercedes-Benz EQS is a luxury sedan that is part of the first generation of entirely electric Mercedes vehicles. The EQ series will also comprise an electric SUV and a minivan. The large EV sedan is available with either a 329-hp rear-drive motor (EQS450+) or a 516-hp all-wheel-drive powertrain (EQS580 4Matic). Both vehicles are powered by a massive 107.8-kWh battery with a range of up to 350 miles. It is expected to arrive in late 2021 or early 2022, at a cost of $102,000.

14. Rivian R1S

Rivian’s second production vehicle, the seven-passenger R1S sport utility vehicle, will debut in 2022. The Rivian R1S is aimed squarely at Tesla’s Model X, which is presently the only three-row all-electric SUV on the market. According to Rivian, the R1S should have great acceleration, reaching 60 in as little as 3.0 seconds. Rivian R1S prices will begin in the mid-$70,000 level, with a range of more than 300 miles.

15. Toyota bZ4X

The Toyota bZ4X will be released in the middle of 2022. The bZ4X comes with a basic front-wheel drive electric engine that produces 201 horsepower. A dual-motor all-wheel drive variant is available, increasing the output to 215 horsepower. The all-wheel-drive bZ4X accelerates to 62 mph in 7.7 seconds.
