1. Wall Connector

With a Wall Connector, your Tesla can get up to around 44 miles of range each hour of charging. With a Wall Connector, your Tesla will take anywhere from six to fifteen hours to fully charge. A Wall Connector is the most convenient solution for charging your Model S, Model X, or Model 3 at home or at the workplace at the fastest possible pace. Tesla suggests using Wall Connectors to charge your vehicle. 

2. Mobile Connector

A Mobile Connector, which comes standard with all new Tesla vehicles, is the cheapest, best and easiest way to charge your Tesla at home. After connecting the portable Mobile Connector to your Tesla and plugging it into any ordinary 240V AC power outlet, you should obtain approximately 10-15km of range each hour of charging. 

The Mobile Connector, on the other hand, is the slowest way to charge and should only be used in an emergency. However, when travelling longer distances, utilizing the portable cable in a conventional outlet would most likely take longer to fully recharge your battery.

Tesla has its own Supercharger network of public automobile charging stations. The Tesla Supercharger network is the best option when you’re on the road and need to charge rapidly. They’re located near essential amenities like restaurants, coffee shops, and WiFi hotspots, as well as well-traveled highways and congested urban areas. Superchargers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The charging speed of Tesla supercharger stations is extremely fast. It takes about 30 minutes to charge your Tesla’s battery to 50% capacity, and 1.5 hours to fully charge it. 

Supercharger stations may be found using your touchscreen, navigation, or the Tesla Find Us map. Most long-range battery electric vehicles can be fully recharged in under eight hours using these chargers. If you want to charge your Tesla at a non-Tesla public charging station, you must first connect the adaptor to the charging port before plugging it in.
