Ampere REO takes about 8-10 hours for a full charge offering a range of 45-50 km but its Lithium-ion battery takes about 5-6 hours to charge completely and range of around 60-65 km. This electric scooter has a top speed of 25kmph. 

The Ampere Zeal is available in only one variant and in three colors. It will take 5-6 hours to fully charge the battery which gives a range of 70-75km/h with a top speed of 50-55kmph.

This scooter claims to have a top speed of 78km/h and a range of 75km with a single charge. TVS iQube charges 0-80% in less than 5 hours and a full charge in around 7 hours. 

5. Ather Energy

Ather Energy was founded in 2013. It was developed and manufactured in India. This electric scooter is the successor to the 450 scooter which is available in two variants: Ather 450 Plus and the Ather 450X. The price of Ather 450X in Delhi starts at Rs. 1.13 Lakh for the plus and goes up to Rs. 1.32 lakh (ex-showroom). Ather 450X promises a driving range of up to 116km and it will take around 5 hours to charge the battery with a top-notch speed of 80kmph. Ather 450X is the fastest and technically advanced on sale in India and it’s electric motor generates 26 Nm torque.  Ather 450 X accelerated 0-40kmph in 3.3 seconds while 0-60kmph in just 6.5 seconds.

6. Bajaj Chetak Electric

Bajaj is a popular vehicle manufacturer which gives a second life to electric scooters. This electric scooter is available in two variants: Urbane and Premium that cost Rs 1,00,000 and Rs 1,15,000 respectively. And it is available in 6 colors. Bajaj Chetak comes with a 4kW electric motor that generates about 16 Nm of torque. It delivers a range of 95 km in Eco mode while in Sport mode it gives 85km of range. Bajaj Chetak has a 3kWh lithium-ion battery that takes about five hours to charge. This electric scooter helps riders to reach a top speed of up to 70kmph. 

7. BGauss


BGauss is India’s biggest electric company. The BGauss currently offers two electric scooters named, the A2 and B8. This electric scooter gives amazing features such as quick charging, low maintenance, comfort, and so on. Apart from this, it has a removable battery pack, keyless start/stop, centralized seat lock, Reverse Assist, three riding modes is Low, Mid, High, etc. Both the scooters are the best and affordable.

The price of an Ola scooter is different for some of the states namely Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. The Ola S1 is available in five colors including Red, Sky Blue, Yellow, Black, White and the Ola S1 Pro, is available in 10 colors including Red, Sky Blue, Yellow, Silver, Gold, Pink, Black, Navy Blue, Grey, and White. Ola S1 has a claimed riding range of 121 km and comes with a top speed of 90 kmph while the Ola S1 Pro offers a driving range of 181 km. The top speed on the S1 Pro is 115 kmph.

Its name stands for Power Using Renewable Energy. The Pure EV offers four electric scooters namely, Epluto, Epluto 7G, ETrance, and ETrance Neo. Epluto 7G is the most popular and expensive with the costs of Rs. 83,999. This scooter has a 2.5kWh battery that promises a driving range of more than 100kms with a top speed of 60kmph. Pluto 7G has a digital instrument cluster, LED headlamp, and controls to change riding modes. The best thing about this electric scooter is it will take 4 hours to fully charge the battery.

The Detel EV has launched the Easy Plus at Rs 39,999. This electric scooter is super lightweight and compact. This scooter offers only one variant and is available in 4 different colors: Blue, Red, Cyan, Yellow. . It does not require any license. It gives a battery capacity of 48V 20Ah Battery with a riding range of 50km/charge. Its top speed is 25km/h.
